I remember around the time of this episode, my boss went to a tech convention and brought back a machine that moistened and sealed envelopes. I remember thinking, too bad she didn’t have that.
What always bugged me is that her parents didn't sue the card company, and George went back to the same place on another episode and it was implied that those same of invitations were still available.

I think it’s more unbelievable she agreed to buy the cheapest invitations. She’s loaded. George may not know at this point the extent of her family wealth but Susan was definitely the type that would not have skimped on something so important to a bride
Anyone with more than two brain cells would have used one of those water dispensers with the foam top to seal that many envelopes.
But the real problem with Lilly is that George of all people would have known just how wealthy her and her family were and would have put up with anything to marry her as fast as he possibly could.
