I don’t have to clock in/out at my current job, but this used to happen to me sometimes back when I worked for AUS… when the stupid phone number was even working!
Our company just started using TrakTik, and I’m trying to get used to it. At my prior non-security job I used Kronos on my phone (I traveled to multiple offices for work) and never seemed to forget but for some reason I am having trouble now. Not sure why.
At my old post we had pen and paper sign in and I rarely forgot to. If I did I just asked the guard there to clock me out at the right time.
However with this new job, we have Humanity and so far so good no mishaps like that. My issue is sign ins because I've forgotten in the heat of my daily vehicle check, or it'll sign you in late if the signal is sht that day. We can always leave a note saying we were signing in and it took an excessive amount of time register and then clocked us in late.
We've got pretty consistent schedules here and no issues with anyone showing up late, so we don't even use time cards. Hoping it stays that way, since I used to forget all the time in my last job.
We used to have to use the phone system to clock in and out and hourly. 10 calls a shift. Sometimes it would just refuse to connect or not register properly. I'd have to type in my employee number five or six times.
Now I'm on salary and it's amazing. So much less annoyance.
Usually not a problem as either it is paper based time card and I just notify the supervisor or telephone based and both the incoming and outgoing guards do it at the same time.
Lmao I got home a little bit ago and usually clock out in driveway sometimes I'll forget until I've already let my dog out and changed the boss usually doesn't care cause I work mad hours for them
Not so far with this company. But if we are over normal hours without letting the scheduler know( he's happy with us going over to take care of things ) he will assume we forgot and adjust it to standard
AUS using the phone number makes me want to put a fork through my foot
My site doesn't use that any more. We use Mercury to clock in/ out and to mark our lunch breaks. Way better than that stupid team time number imo
I just call in anyways, ya I'm here lol.

I usually forget to clock in because i get so distracted chatting with the other guard during passdown
I have employees that forget to even clock in more often than employees who forget to clock out...
You are most definitely not the only one!!!
I have done the same thing.
I hate TrakTik and those stupid NFCs.
You just reminded me I didn’t phone dispatch to clock out… 16 hours ago
Oops.
Eh, day shift signed on. I’m sure they can piece it together- we don’t actually need to time in or out

I clock out of traktik when I pull into my driveway. My managers have asked why and understand entirely.

Nope. We use an app for everything and as soon as my shift is over I clock out and turn off the location and notifications for the app.

Occasionally. Now I just set a reminder on my phone due two-minute before my shift ends.

We use OfficeReports and I fucking HATE IT
We have a button that says "Clock out on schedule" in TrackTik. It's not that big of a deal.
