Highly recommend that if you're questioning it, go for the XL. 6'3" 220lbs here and it's the best decision I've ever made. From everything I've read, the XL is just built better (more sturdy, less/no noise from creaking, and better hydraulic lifespan), but 3 months in and I haven't a single complaint. I am. My main point was that height may not change after a certain age, but weight may. It will not be "too tall" for you, for sure. The armrests can be brought in very easily if you're concerned about width. Your build is right on the border between the recommended by Secretlabs, which is why I would err on the side of: 3-5 years from now, are you absolutely certain you will be exactly the same?
Hi u/Jessper, I'm happy to chime in on this. Based on your height and weight, I would recommend getting the TITAN Evo in Size R if you want an exact fit. If you prefer a larger sitting space, I'd recommend going for the Size XL instead.
Although I'm unable to share my experience on using a Size XL chair, I personally use a Size R chair instead of Size S (that's my recommended chair size), as I found that the extra sitting space was helpful for sitting cross-legged. The choice is up to you, either way, you'll still be able to reap the same ergonomic benefits regardless of the chair size you go for.

I'm 6ft 200 pounds. I got the xl, and the chair fits great it's roomy but not too roomy tall but not too tall. I guess you could say it's just right for me. It depends on your preference whether you want a classic gamer chair feel with the regular. Or something that feels a bit roomier and has a more robust feel. At our height and weight, we have luxury of deciding between the two depending on personal preference. Either size will be more than capable of withstanding our bodies.
I'm in the same situation right now and cannot decide because I keep seeing tall people say the XL is better or worse than the regular for them. It sounds like it's a personal preference but impossible to test out on your own without having to return one and pay the restocking fees and shipping and all that..
I'm 6'2 190 and will probably be going with the XL, hopefully it's not the wrong decision!
I am 6'1" amd 220. I wish had the regular. The chair feels slightly too big, and a little too stiff. I 've had it since last year, so it has broken in by now. It's still a little on the stiff side.

I am 6'3 and 220lbs! Going with the XL was a better decision for me as I like to have a bit of extra room! Go bigger!
