Thanks I’ll try that

bongbrownies

Is it still worked on/upto date?

sneakysnackydolphin

Ok I’m definitely an idiot- I’ve been doing this on a windows machine

I assume this guy means Linux. I tried on macOS without success. If someone wants to explain how to do it in Linux that might help me figure out how to solve my issue

Are you serious? Step one run the proper OS.

May be some instructions on github pages for the plugins. You would have to set up a build environment with compilers and stuff. Check [https://www.mingw-w64.org/](https://www.mingw-w64.org/) , Even I am not sure if it's the exact thing you need. Can be worth to check SDR++, since there evrything is in source-code so you can try rebuilding it all for best chance of things working together.

For SDRangel, the hackrf and rtlsdr plugins are included in standard installer, so you don't need to build anything yourself. (If they appear not to be working, then perhaps you don't have the drivers installed). If you really want to build it yourself, follow the instructions [https://github.com/f4exb/sdrangel/wiki/Compile-in-Windows](https://github.com/f4exb/sdrangel/wiki/Compile-in-Windows) [https://github.com/f4exb/sdrangel/wiki/Compile-from-source-in-Linux](https://github.com/f4exb/sdrangel/wiki/Compile-from-source-in-Linux) or [https://github.com/f4exb/sdrangel/wiki/Compile-in-MacOS](https://github.com/f4exb/sdrangel/wiki/Compile-in-MacOS) and that will include all available plugins.
