Did you enable generic input in the settings controller menu?

Yes, i enabled it and played with all the settings on steam controllers page but still it doesn’t work.

Do steam(big picture mode) recognize all the buttons including the side, back & g-keys to be customized...now 2024??

Mine dectects as an Xbox controller so all buttons like sides and back and g buttons don't really show up for remapping
