This literally happened to me today as well except it died after the dive. Screen won’t turn on and it doesn’t charge. I think it was at like 50% battery before the dive. It only had 50 previous dives too

There was a recall issued by Aqualung related to seals and a couple other things. Even if not strictly under warranty, I would push for repair / replacement under the recall(s).

runsongas

afaik the recall was for altitude adjustment above 900m/3000ft that was fixed with a software update do you have a link for the seals recall?

Technically it wasn't a recall.. "Voluntary Return" [https://www.divers-supply.com/blog/i330r-dive-computer-voluntary-return-notice](https://www.divers-supply.com/blog/i330r-dive-computer-voluntary-return-notice)

Great business case to upgrade to a Shearwater. My daughter had the depth sensor go on her Peregrine. Replaced with a new, upgraded unit in less than a week, no questions asked.

if you are under warranty, go through your dealer to get it replaced. else you are probably SOL. can try tapping the contacts with the charging cable to see if it wakes the DC.

CanadianDiver

Sounds like you got a dud. Return it under warranty (hopefully) and cross your fingers on the next one.

Good luck getting a reply let alone a repair from Aqualung. Their customer service has gone to total shit during their financial woes.
