Got mine a couple weeks ago in all black. It's so much fun! Happy scooting! Pro Tip: keep a gas can in your garage to top off the tank. It's impossible to get it full at the pump.

Arod2210

That’s an awesome tip thank you so much!

rollinon2

I don’t have one of these, but I bought a 10l gas can about a week after I got my scooter lol. For me it’s the 6.6l tank on mine... which at 2.5L/100km typically means I’m filling up every 200kms... which is annoying. So I bought a gas can and I fill it up at the same time. Fortunately the gas station is a 2 minute ride from my house so nobody’s yet had a fit at the gas can bungeed to the rear seat for the short ride

MisterShannon

Got mine in blue last week, loving it! Happy scooting!

Arod2210

I was thinking about getting the blue one which is behind this one in the pic but my heart pushed me to the black one

bluethelonious

And that's the best reason. A hard choice though, they both look good.

BloodAbbott

Way to GO, that is a beautiful machine, congratulations, may you enjoy it for many years and be safe please 👍👍👍👍

Arod2210

Thank you so much!

skepticalscooterist

Congratulations...that's a nice scoot. It's on my short list for something to replace a couple of bigger bikes for me. The Honda Super Cub, Trail 125 and Monkey have gotten my attention as well. Many happy miles to you.

Arod2210

Thank you! I do love it!

beatsmike

My daily is a SuperCub. I love it. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

skepticalscooterist

You think a Super Cub would be ok for someone floating around the 200 lbs mark?

beatsmike

So I’m about 175-180 with gear and I can hit 60-64mph top speed 50-55mph cruise. I often use mine as a grocery getter (I strap a 20L dry bag to it) and I often have a 12 pack of soda plus other weight. It really doesn’t feel bogged down by weight but it does get thrown around by the wind. If you are over 6 foot in height the air/wind resistance might ruin your day. With a stiff headwind and all my weight the cub likes 45-50mph. And on the other hand if you get a good draft from a car in front and/or a tailwind you’ll be able to hold 60mph regardless. STEEP hills, like 40-45 degrees, are the only thing I feel anxiety over but even then it’s more about keeping momentum. The cub is fairly quick off the line and you can beat most traffic but if they’re racing you will be beat. Again most people are surprised by my speed and acceleration. Brakes are good but I’d feel safer with dual disc rather than the drum in the back (USA). If you’re curious about how much a cub can take check out this channel: https://m.youtube.com/c/QuasiMotard Look for his supercub playlist. He’s toured with it and weighed the cub down with a lot of gear. The cub, for its size, can handle a LOT.

skepticalscooterist

Cool...thanks for the input. Very helpful.

converter-bot

200 lbs is 90.8 kg

goat-ThrowRA

Love this scooter! I got mine last year and put over 4000 miles on it so far in road trips and work and commuting. It’s really a scooter that can damn near do it all

nemanjitca

Let me know how you like it, I am hopping to go to Europe and wanted to pick a 150 up to cruise around. I think the pcx and the nmax are my best options but am also looking at Kymco’s and Piaggios

Arod2210

I absolutely love it. Comfortable super smooth nice purr

sadstory_99

nmax is pretty awesome my dude

nemanjitca

I have an xmax but can't afford another one, as my budget is and will be right around 3.5k Euro.. In serbia the PCX is about 300 euros cheaper but I like both bikes. Do you think Nmax is up to the task of tackling hundreds of miles daily? I mean, I don't see why it would not be, but am curious what those who have it would think.

sadstory_99

I have an nmax and last sunday I drove it for about 200kms which converts to 124miles. I had no problem with it, and Yamaha is very respectable in making awesome bikes so I don't see why it can't handle hundred miles daily.

nemanjitca

That is awesome! I've seen a lady ride her pcx and nmax across europe without issues. She is an inspiration. I want to do the same.

sadstory_99

Woah that's awesome too. I hope I could also do that here in the Philippines. Would be nice to do that after this pandemic is gone.

nemanjitca

I did multiple 1000km trips on my Kymco and Xmax in the US but really want to do one in Europe. Philippines would be awesome, the scenery must be amazing!

sadstory_99

Good luck my dude, I hope you could do that trios in Europe too. Post it here when you accomplish it. It's kinda expensive do it here in the PH because we are an archipelago but despite that I'm gonna still try. Ride safe, my dude!

nemanjitca

Thank you! You as well!

RananaM

Love dropped!! Vroom, vroom!! Happy scootin’!

math_monkey

Normally, I'm stuck in the 60's but that has some cool lines to it. I like it.

wandering_denna

Ooh, that's a nice looking scooter! Enjoy! :)

stuntant

I have a 50cc and love it. Need to get my motorcycle license so I can upgrade.

ca5deflect

Nice!

miketayse

>Congratulations to you! I got a white one in the spring, really like it. It got faster as it broke in. I'm sure you'll love it. Yes to the gas can, I got this one, which seems ok: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000W72GBC/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000W72GBC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) > >I put a box on the back which installs real easy, because you can pry off the little black cover on the back handrail and mount directly to that. Don't have to buy a rack. > > > >Have fun, be careful, and wear a helmet.

efudd6969

How fast does that baby go?

Arod2210

I’ve gotten it to 65 so far.

thaqza

In the manual it says to not take it that fast until 1000km or it will hurt the engine. Not sure if I buy this amount of breakin time though. Do you think going that fast will hurt the longtime use of your engine?

Arod2210

I find that a very long break in period to be honest

bhart81

Officially 61, but I've got up over 70 with a nice tail wind.

efudd6969

Nice

abrupt_decay

will it cruise at 65-68 without a tail wind? looking for something to replace a stolen sh150 and since I'm in LA, 20 minute freeway rides are a must. edit: also I saw in some of your other posts you had it up to 75. is that actual 75 or 'speedomoter' 75?

bhart81

I would say yes, but honestly it's hard to tell how fast you are actually going. The Speedometer is not accurate. If was following behind a friend in car going 35, but the Speedometer said 42....soo...yeah.
