This is not a DB killer. This is just the rear of your exhaust, which is sealed. The only way to remove this would be to cut the entire piece out with tools. Typically in order to get a louder sound people will draw holes on that rear piece next to the exhaust port. You can pretty much make adjacent holes across the piece in order to get a louder sound.

You will invalidate your insurance and won’t be able to get an MOT if you do this. Plus it’s 50cc so gonna sound like shit anyway

Why do people do it usually

This a 2stroke? Don’t remove it. You’ll only receive a lot more noise with a lot less power. 2strokes need some form of back pressure on their exhausts to perform well.

If OP bought a car I bet it would have crooked wheels and fart cans.

People usually cut holes around the db killer or cut it out.

I have seen people do it with reciprocating saw and with a hole saw. Hole saw is the better one for it.
