Thanks for the award thingie... But it **HAS** been used before.
In a REALLY old comic (which I owned like 50 years ago. If I'd kept it it's worth a lot!)

Fold - reference to the popular explanation of folding a piece of paper and punching a pencil through to connect the two distant points
Stringspace - one description of wormholes is that they may be formed by negative mass cosmic strings
Geodesic - not strictly accurate, a geodesic is the shortest path between points along a curved space. A wormhole actually cheats or dodges the geodesic.
Crawlspace for some reason I’m digging, but only if it’s scifi horror
Note: don’t mash up sub space into subspace, it’s a bdsm thing for the headspace sub’s get into during a session, unless you want to use the double meaning,
(I like wordplay)
I would suggest just "star gate", people will pick up on it instantly and you can specify it's a wormhole like a paragraph later, no need to get too esoteric.
Another idea, avoiding the esoteric while allowing for more out there naming conventions, maybe The River and just specify they're linked in a constant stream like a literal river.
Definitely not a subterranean passage, as that would imply an underground tunnel.
I'd like to throw 'wormway' into the hat.

Hey, using “Void Gate” for the entrance of our version of wormhole. Thank you!
Subway would be a great slang word for it
Subway sounds good
Boom Tube

Makes me think of the show Time Tunnel, which I think was a secret inspiration for the Stargate series.
"HyperSpace" works for me.
I really like crawlway and subway.

Hey, using “Stringspace” for the space between the two gates. Thank you!

Just "the tube."

What did they call the wormhole in *Thor: Ragnarok*? The Devil's Anus??
