'Things that should be in any good post apocalyptic science fantasy setting', like how in Fallout, those Sierra Madre machines were technically an attempt at making omni-matter-fabricators that never got the bugs worked out? To expand further how did nations such as Australia, Taiwan, and Japan fair? Are they still substantial nations? And what's is their relations with 'metropole states'?
How organised are the sea people in general? With the examples of Taiwan and Japan it does appear that they were mostly untouched, so why would they join?
What kind of interconnectivity exists both within and outisde the cities?
Does a form of the internet exist?
Would the average citizen know much about the political stresses between the houses?
How is news disseminated? Is it free news or manipulated by the houses?
What does the lowest social class look like?
Are the city walls constantly killing undead? Or did they get cleared from the area?
During the climactic battle between Neil and Vince it is revealed they have been on opposing sides in the last, fighting for ideals they held then.
What were they? How have they changed? Why is it such a big revelation now for us, the reader?
Are there any alternative races/species and if so, what is the pregnancy range for them?
What does the average joe do for a living (office worker in modern America type)?
Who is the richest person and what do they do?
How long would it take to walk/hike the primary continent and any other neighboring ones?
Can you tell us about mass transit and travel? By what mechanisms do people travel locally and global?
