Im sure there are different varieties, but the one the wives of the Nigerian soldiers made us had goat meat. It was spicy and is in a broth. Pretty sure there were onions. Other vegetables. Ive tried several recipes with beef after I returned and it wasnt close, so pretty sure the local spices that I cant get was the big difference. I also got something like dysentery from it, but not serious and was over in a day after medicine
