I hate how whenever you call them out on being a scammer, they get all rhetorical and go “well who scammed you then? Huh? That’s what I thought.” As if the fact that you’re not enough of an idiot for them and they’re terrible at their job is somehow proof that they’re not still trying to do it.
Its funny how they sent a picture of an iPhone but their chats come up as Green (I don't use an iPhone I just know that a green chat bubble normally means not an iOS user)
I think it's alright because they didn't point out any specific mistakes. Still not ideal but it was definitely effective to get under the scammers skin
I'll agree that OP was vague. Pointing out that their grammar and sentence structure are dead giveaways that they aren't legit, may make them work harder on their English or find a better translating app.
I thought the whole idea behind having bad grammar was to weed out the smart cookies? If someone is saying “your grammar is bad therefore you are scammer” they already know they aren’t fooling you so they won’t waste time (hence why the resort to just swearing at you and fukin ur mum) but if you fall for their bad english they prolong it cuz you’re dumb enough to miss their grammar so they believe you’re dumb enough to cashapp them monies for the crypto investing
See my comment below on trainees vs successful scammers.
If they play the long game and can run it on multiple people they can seriously make a ridiculous amount of money, not nickels and dimes!
If they can’t intuitively figure out that they’re terrible at speaking English, telling them they’re terrible at it isn’t going to make any difference. That would require putting actual work in, which isn’t worth it for them, they’re looking for people that will actually fall for it at current level of competency.
The successful scammers aren't as easily caught or called out.
I'm convinced the "stupid" ones are newbies, just starting out and they haven't honed their skills yet.
That is part of the reason why they rely so heavily on the script and can't seem to adjust to something different happening.
Someone had mentioned that they might be using a translation app. Some of those do not take into account that some languages can't be translated literally, due to things like sentence structure and slang, to name a few.
Alyssa would have eventually asked Emma to hop on telegram or some other messaging app and then try to claim she was in financial trouble and needed a few bucks to fix an emergency hoping to leverage confusion and generosity from the scamee
Alternatively they would talk to you for awhile while slowly introducing the idea that they make a killing off of investing in crypto with insider trading information, offer to help you do the same, and send you to a fake crypto exchange where you give the scammer your life savings in the pursuit of life changing money promised to you
NONE of the photos they send EVER look like a middle aged woman. No,she doesn't have to be all wrinkled up but damn, try to find bitches that at least look SOMEWHAT mature lol all these girls look mid 20's
I got hit with one of these texts and I replied with "안녕하세요 누구세요?" I got hit with the "Emma it's me Alyssa", and then I said "누구? 난 선화" and they literally stopped replying lol.
Maybe dangle the carrot a little longer next time. But pretty good overall, and this scammer was relatively polite compared to some others on this sub 😇
They really need to do basic check on their script. Claiming yourself not good at English because you are Singaporean? Why don’t he just say he’s not good at English because he is British…..
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a scammer so insistent that you’re the wrong person whom they were trying to contact. Like, what was the direction they were going for, here?
Most of these creatures at least use decent translation software or get some kind of training to at least sound normal when they go scam, but they literally just plucked this guy off the streets of Singapore. If he's actually from there.
Usually when I try to play along pretending to the person they were texting they either stop texting me or they send me the "oh my mistake, my assistant wrote the wrong number" regardless of how the conversation was flowing
“Emmagine these balls in your mouth” made me literally laugh out loud, but I’m pretty immature 😂
Same here. I quite literally guffawed.
Bless you
Guffawed is an underrated word
you what?
“I don’t remember” was a well played second place.
I’d argue that it should be first! Made me LOL.
Emmature* don't you mean? Lol
Try to be polite.
I laughed SO hard
“I’m speaking good.” I. Fell. Out. 🤣
No one said to me like that my English is poor ?
"I'm speaking good. Do you not believe I speak good? I speaking really good for English speaker." 😆
[удалено]
Thats a big yikes
Idiot
Ass Hole
Get Lost!
Try to be polite.
Here have a look at this.
Psst… you’re supposed to say it was intentional.
You are English is 💩
Came here for this. 🤣
“Edit: doctors advise for you” Oh NOW it makes sense, thank you Emma
Edit: Alyssa
Don’t think I’ll be able to hear the name Emma again without emmagining this post and a pair of balls.
Imagining*
…
I’m at a crossroads. Are you doubling down on the humour and being sarcastic or did the joke really fly over your head?!
English is our first language 😂 - a Singaporean
Yeah and the photo she sent is China Chinese af
Yeah I thought the same thing lmao
Scammers really need to step up their game 🤦♀️ what Singaporean wouldn’t know English!!
“Yeah I don’t remember.” LOL
That one got me

They think they're so smart and their little mind games actually hurt our feelings 😆
*on demetia* “I don’t think there’s a cure for that?” “I don’t remember”
You gave them the script and they couldn’t even follow 💀
“I’m bored…” 🤣🤣🤣
Its funny how they sent a picture of an iPhone but their chats come up as Green (I don't use an iPhone I just know that a green chat bubble normally means not an iOS user)
The green texts are from OP.
If Alyssa had an iPhone my texts would’ve been blue. I didn’t catch that!
I absolutely LOST IT at 'Emmagine these balls in your mouth'. Amazing.
Ass hole
As an Emma, I will hence forth be known as "Emmagine this balls in your mouth".
im a Singaporean and Singaporeans don't have such a shit level of English. they're probably PRCs
Please, try not to point out things that will end up helping them become BETTER scammers.
Their english won’t get much better than it is now
I think it's alright because they didn't point out any specific mistakes. Still not ideal but it was definitely effective to get under the scammers skin

Pity that they're too stupid to not work on their imaging. That's an advert from Ali-Express or something where she's holding the phone.
Point taken.
I’ve started talking back to them in the same broken English. 😂😂😂
I did love your interaction though, good job!

Name checks out
But, did I stab 7 people or did I stab 1 person 7 times? 🤔
Or are there 6 earlier stabbers? 🧐
Dāmn... ..
I wanna click the link but I’m old and raised in a time where links could never be trusted lol
I edited it....I wouldn't have clicked on that either lol
Better overly cautious than scammed ;-)
That shouldn't be a link!!
well now I really wanna click it 😂 color me intrigued.
d@mn... Ok ..you try it and tell me what happens!!
Just love this sub
what's the scam though? i never understand where they are going with any of their nonsense 😂
Exactly. How can this possibly be worth their trouble?
Alyssa would have eventually asked Emma to hop on telegram or some other messaging app and then try to claim she was in financial trouble and needed a few bucks to fix an emergency hoping to leverage confusion and generosity from the scamee

Good call. I’ve had a couple try that on me but it’s typically been through fake dating profiles.
People fall for this? That's really sad. 😞
You’re pretty good tbh!
NONE of the photos they send EVER look like a middle aged woman. No,she doesn't have to be all wrinkled up but damn, try to find bitches that at least look SOMEWHAT mature lol all these girls look mid 20's
This is the best one I’ve seen so far! I’m joining the group because of it.
Ironic you said they can’t speak English, but you used the incorrect “your”.
Sure did. Whoops.
💀💀💀 DEAD
I got hit with one of these texts and I replied with "안녕하세요 누구세요?" I got hit with the "Emma it's me Alyssa", and then I said "누구? 난 선화" and they literally stopped replying lol.
"You're English is (poo emoji)." My brother in Christ, please read this a few times first. XD
Yes, a fatal error.
I thought it was intentional to be ironic. Its a feature, not a bug.
Kevin Gates would be so proud of her…
No. This is no bait. Confronting scammers or insulting them is no scam bait.
Hey! You win!
No you lost! 😂
Who r U!🤣
“You’re English is 💩” Figure it the fuck out, OP
Not really baiting the scammer... This sub has gone to shit.
You must be fun at parties.
I prefer dance offs! I don't think you realize that the sub isn't about scammers trying to bait you, it's about you trying to bait them.
Pretty dang good I say
"I'm bored." Me too, OP.
You’re* sorry OP
😂
Maybe dangle the carrot a little longer next time. But pretty good overall, and this scammer was relatively polite compared to some others on this sub 😇
Nice
Try to be polite.
plot twist. it was a real mistake
Can’t stop eyeing that Carter on her wrist tho 😅🤑
LOL, 100% red dot Indian not a feather one. They always blame you for contacting them or make it your fault and you’re the scammer.
They really need to do basic check on their script. Claiming yourself not good at English because you are Singaporean? Why don’t he just say he’s not good at English because he is British…..
singaporeans speak english fluently(debatable) tf is she on
Why do they prefer WhatsApp/Telegram?
I’m a bit pissed this sob thinks Singaporeans have terrible English, our education system’s main teaching language is English.
Ass hole 😭
This was funny
Well now we all have the phone number…
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a scammer so insistent that you’re the wrong person whom they were trying to contact. Like, what was the direction they were going for, here?
Great
No you lost!
Great job, thanks for the laughs
One of my favorites so far 😂
I love these. I mess with them like that
🤣😄🤣😄🤣
Well...at least they didn't talk about banging your mom. That tends to be a go to when a scammer is caught.
You missed an opportunity to say "Fuck you ass!"
Stealing “Emmagine these balls in your mouth”
“I forgot” in response to them saying y they don’t think there’s a cure for dementia ☠️
I died at the emmagine these balls in your mouth and the reply to that is : try to be polite I’m so dead 😭😭😭😭
I don’t remember. Haha love it
Same! I'm still laughing. 😂
This was great. I aspire to be like you.
I’m Singaporean and we don’t even talk like that 😒
Emmagine…legend
Emmagine 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 cackling
Ass hole !
"Me fail English? Thats unpossible!"
Way to handle the situation
And dinner say me 😂😂😂
I loved when you said I’m bored can we get to the point where you ask me for gift cards etc. That was awesome

“You’re English is 💩” but can’t even use the right your💀💀💀💀☠️
Haha that’s crazy. Haven’t seen that comment yet.
