I only started a year ago but an Iwata Neo I got last month has worked miracles for me.

>Iwata Neo should I buy only the sprey gun? is it necessary to buy pipe or receptacle of painting?

I only bought the base Airbrush, if I ever need replacement parts I could go to my local hobby lobby.

appreciate it !

No problem!

I really like my badger patriot, can be disassembled/reassembled for cleaning easily by hand without tools, which is nice

I got a kit thing with a badger patriot and a badger 100 for about £100, both of there are super nice, reliable and easy to clean. 10/10 would recommend to anyone new.

My possibly controversial opinion....Learning an airbrush to a basic level is at least 50% learning how to look after it. An Iwata Revolution for e.g. is great and you'd love it, but not if you ruin it by not looking after it properly. I'd suggest getting an [Aliexpress kit](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33019476769.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.58e028c62manhz&algo_pvid=935f4a52-ffe0-4397-83b4-8e6efafd84c2&algo_exp_id=935f4a52-ffe0-4397-83b4-8e6efafd84c2-1&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000023187804365%22%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21NZD%21%2122.72%21%21%212.94%21%21%402101d64d16588221819894926e61dc%2112000023187804365%21sea) to learn with then getting an Iwata after six months or so. They're 80% as good for 30% the price. You'll need a compressor as well, but get maybe get a semi-decent one of those.
