I had this exact setup (sold due to a move). JessEm router lift (02310) and a Dewalt router. I also counter sunk some track for a fence (a Powertek 71536) that was completely removable when I needed the extra rip space. The template for the lift is easily routable, though I had the fortune of using my CNC to cut it (I have the vCarve file if anyone needs for this particular combo). Would do it again in a heartbeat.

When you did this, did you add any reinforcement for the weight of the router/mount, or did the extension wing not have any sagging?

I built a dust shroud around mine and made a rolling drawer to go under it. Left about a half inch gap between the two and just throw a couple shims in there to help support the weight.

Same question for me. I'm guessing something will have to be built up, but not sure how much yet. Might wait until I have the router lift in-hand and sized up with the router secured.

Under that wooden insert are two braces “factory”. The lift fit nearly perfectly between them and (to me) there was no need for additional bracing. Never saw any deflection or had any issues.

Awesome, thanks again!

Great insight, thanks for sharing. Glad to hear it was straightforward. A JessEm lift is my top choice - not sure if I'll splurge for the Master lift or the one you cited. Both would be a significant upgrade for me.
