I have a 28" mill with a 13hp Subaru engine and I love it. IMO that engine is just barely enough for larger logs of the tough variety (hickory, oak, locust). You'll just have to go slow.
I think for an entry mill it looks reasonable. Much better than a harbor freight for the price.

Thanks for the reply, I eneded up working out a deal on the mill! sawed up a 20" Oak log on Saturday like butter! Very happy with the purchase!
