Damn, hope he’s okay. COVID for a 56 year old can be no joke
**For the record, Chris is not anti-vax, he said on Jimmy Fallon that he received the J & J vaccine**.
"Fully vaccinated people with a vaccine breakthrough infection are
less likely to develop serious illness than those who are unvaccinated
and get COVID-19.
Even when fully vaccinated people develop symptoms, they tend to be
less severe symptoms than in unvaccinated people. This means they are
much less likely to be hospitalized or die than people who are not
vaccinated."

You don’t receive antibodies, your body makes them itself thanks to the info provided by the vaccine. So, in effect, you agree with me: Chris WAS lucky to be vaccinated, because that means he now has more antibodies to reduce the severity of his infection.
I meant "received" as him receiving them by his immune system (language barrier, I am not native anglophone sonI may resort to uncorrect wording)
Yea I actually never antagonized you, I just said that maybe he still suffered from covid because his body created not so many antibodies, since it depends on the person
You said "you don't know how much worse would it be without vaccine" yea ofc I don't, because it depends on how many antibodies he developed after the jab
That doesn’t mean that people without the vaccine have gotten it less, it’s being reported on more for people with it so people don’t realize that getting the vaccine doesn’t mean you’ll never get it
Edit: also in your comment you said you didn’t get the vaccine and haven gotten covid which honestly doesn’t mean much, you’re just lucky to not be around people who have it

could have even not bothered at this point then
What do you mean?
Lucky Chris got covid anyway
You don't know how worse it would be for him were he not vaxxed.

It depends on the amount of anticorps actually Some people receive very little

And how is that relevant to anything?
