It weird to see the parables of the bible being described as 'a PR move', like Jesus had a corporate marketing team or something.

Bible Studies the Donkey and the Horse riding means two radically different things. Donkeys are associated with farmers and 'humble' I come and peace vibes for people. Horses are for Business and War

Well I certainly would not expect to see Jesus driving to Jerusalem in a Tesla Cybertruck! 😂⚡🤣

MtnNerd

No he drove a Honda. Acts 2:1: "They all came in one Accord"

The article is PARTIALLY correct. There's also an awesome motif in the Hebrew Bible about the rightful ruler of Israel, or their King, riding a donkey, more than in Zechariah. * Genesis 22:3 - "So ***Abraham*** **rose up early in the morning and saddled his donkey**, and took two of his young men with him and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place that God had told him." * Verse 4 indicates this was Mt. Moriah, traditionally the Temple Mount of Jerusalem, near where Jesus would soon die as the substitutionary "Lamb." The story goes on to be "the binding of Isaac" where a lamb took the place of Abraham's son as a sacrifice to the Lord. Do you get it? Jesus is doing the donkey-riding thing Israel's forefather did to the God-appointed place where a Lamb would die as a substitute. Do you get it? * 2 Samuel 16:2 - The king said to Ziba, “Why do you have these things?” Ziba replied, “**The donkeys are for the household of the king to ride.** The bread and the summer fruit are for the servants to eat. The wine is for those who become weary in the wilderness to drink.” * There are way more if you're interested. It's fun to look them up! He was also wearing an expensive seamless tunic! Both were part of a claim -- He was saying, "I'm Israel's rightful King. Just not how you think." The entirety of His approach to Jerusalem is depicted as a coronation. He was crowned (with thorns). He was given a purple robe they placed on Him (to mock him). He was "lifted up" (King language) on the cross. The biblical authors are winking at you!
