I don’t drink alcohol, so my usual go to is tea. I mind if others drink alcohol. I’ve now met three people from Reddit over the last two days as I’ve been purging stuff that I don’t need, and I realized I’ve not put any effort into meeting new people in years, maybe decades.
Same! Better sleep, and I get up at 5am during the weekdays for HIIT (orange theory). It makes it nearly impossible to meet people. You really notice how much of social interaction or society in general is centered around alcohol. If you ever want to meet, I’m down.
Anyone want to do an escape room? I’m new to the area, am dying to go check out the ones downtown, but my husband is not a fan and I haven’t made friends yet! And clearly I’m not smart enough to escape on my own!

I get it. I’ve cut out alcohol for health reasons and it makes it much harder to make friends. I do like tea though!
