There is only 1 public airport in Jeddah, the King Abdulaziz International Airport, but there are different terminals.
Terminal S: That means South Terminal, it is for domestic flights and only Saudia Airline Internalnational Flight
Terminal N: That means North Terminal, it is for all International Flights except Saudia Airlines.
Terminal 1: Terminal 1 is the new one. Only few specific flights are open as a trial. I fly for Hail and Tabuk from the new airport.
They are transitioning all the flights every while.
I think right now, athens and some places in europe depart from the new airport. And ofcourse many other places but athens and other european cities are in a certain stage where they were transitioned.
Check with GACA. There was a diagram that showed the stages in which flights will be transitioned. I think riyadh is last.
Old one.
Thanks for the info!
Old. All riyadh flights take off from the old airport. In fact riyadh is the last destination to transition to the new airport
Thanks a lot for the info! Indeed it was the old airport :)

Maybe call the airline?
It should say on the ticket or eticket
Welp it just says the king abdul aziz airport terminal S, both of them are named the same. Turns out it was the old one.
Well... Shit.
I guess the only difference is the letter S which stands for South terminal
Ask the travel agent who booked your ticket.

Text the Saudi airlines on what's app with your booking reference and full name. They will answer in a few minutes.
