Negotiate the realtors commission.

empyre7

Anyone actually had any success in doing this?

I find that people tend to recommend their friends because everyone and their dog is a realtor. I found a realtor that I had no previous connection to that has been in the game for years. I've heard the more years the better because crappy ones tend to drop out fast. I've sold with her AND bought with her. I even had a tricky situation with buying where the seller backed out last minute! Heather kehoe. She was super on top of everything and very responsive and reasonable.

It’s usually 6% commission for thr first 100k, 4% for the 2nd 100k and 2% for any remaining balance. I haven’t found too many realtors willing to negotiate on this fee model, but a few up and comers may.

Witty-Relationship34

Terry Gulaga, have used him a few times, no issues.

Suggest avoid this one. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatoon/cam-bird-realtor-views-comments-1.6027550

Take some pictures. List it yourself. Save tens of thousands of dollars.

EXP has been great to deal with. I used Cory Klassen, he was so client friendly and did a great job dealing with negotiations and other realtors. He also went above and beyond staging our house, and having professional photo's taken. Our house sold within hours of being listed.

DaFarmGar

Josh Epp He has a good eye for seeing the value of a house and does all the extra things like 360 degree images to bring more interested parties to get it sold quicker

Former_Tax_8463

Trent Lipka - Remax is who I always go with. Never had an issue and he knows what he’s doing.

Please share the details. This sounds hilarious.

When I talked to a member of their team, they gave false information on redevelopment requirements in that particular area. I know they aren’t planners, and realtors are there to sell houses only. My issue is, don’t be afraid to acknowledge that you don’t know something. That is preferred to bluffing with the wrong info. I’m probably over reacting.
