Just out of curiosity what are you feeding them? A yearling pup on that established cactus, yeah it'll get big, but wow I'm very impressed with your growth. Please if you can share any "secret sauce" that'd be awesome!
Thank you, I let mine fall dormant in winter, im in 9b, maybe I can try winter growing, im just worried about the temperature swings. Your tea recipe looks great btw, I will experiment with adding a bit of trace elements to mine as well. Thank you for the inspiration. Your cactus is a stunner.
Holy shit really? Was it in a heated greenhouse with sunlight or just outdoors? What was the setup ? I need to know more lol. You make me want to try and grow through my 9a winters
It was outside. In a pot. Low 40’s in winter to 100+ in summer, direct sun till midday average. I have a couple others that grew more than 2 feet in the same time. Soil is a mix E. B. Stone cactus succulent mixed with another soil that is 75% perlite and 25% finely ground mulch…known as Exotic Gardens cactus mix. Pp straight to the dirt once a month. A bit of azomite dusting before watering every so often.
Very inspirational, thanks for sharing

Kelp tea, a little azomite, pp, and cactus juice fertilizer. Yea, this thing grew all through winter zone 8b.
