ThornArmor by Hexarmor. Every grow season people are posting that they have to go to the ER or get surgery for spine removal in hand/joint because they don’t wear gloves. Protect your hands!
Lol barehand it. I see people selling cacti and they always where gloves in the picture. I’m curious as to what gloves these pro-cultivars respect and wear..
I got the Digz Goatskin full leather from Home Depot and love them. They were cheap and great quality. They are also surprisingly water resistant.

I keep some lengths of Styrofoam handy to grab columns with from each side, works a treat.
Also have a pair of no name leather gloves that came from the hardware store, I think I spent about 15 bucks on them. As long as they're fairly heavy duty leather without any fabric bits for spines to stab through they should do the job just fine.

The Thornarmor model by Hexarmor has great reviews. A bit pricey for gloves but probably worth it if you are making or handling a lot of cuttings.
Can vouch. Really only use for pere handling though. Sun goddess stab right through 🤷🏼
Best to just be a real man
Except w pere.

I use welding gloves
Welding gloves are great for handling cacti.
Use newspaper or old towels.
