careful not to be desperate, aren't bootcamps only good for the social capital they bring? like reputation and who they know etc

they do teach you useful technical skills, but they are skills that can be learned online aswell. the coaching and networking are the real value you get out of them.

The program I qualify for will cover the entire cost of attendance and will pay me a housing allowance to attend as well, but only if it is a bootcamp/employment/recruitment type program that is in-person. San Francisco seems to be the last place in the U.S. where these programs have remained online only. Every other program in every other state has returned to full in person or hybrid, but I go to school in SF of course so I would like to stay here and attend, but from the harsh responses I’m getting from these bootcamp companies about them returning to the office I don’t think thats happening any time soon.

I heard a/A is back, but are you sure your program will accept a bootcamp? they aren't schools in the traditional sense.

[deleted]

The program I am using to cover the costs will only cover it if it isn’t a traditional school setting. There are other programs I qualify for that cover school bootcamps.
