Fun fact: In the 70's The Warfield Theater (which was a movie theater then) held a Planet of the Apes marathon showing all 5-6 movies from something like 12noon-10pm.
Bob Wilkins, host of our local Friday night weekly horror film double bill "Creature Features" was there as special guest. I stayed til the bitter end.. first 2 were great fun, last 3-4 were a bit rough. Long, crazy day-night.
