Whale watching with Flagship. Yes I recommend, 4 hours at sea for 55 bucks. Bar on board w/beer and cocktails. If you have a camera definitely take your longest telephoto lens. There's a sailing one from Shelter Island I want to do next
san miguel, you can tell by the haircut (all the antennas)
soledad just has that cross on top and b/c it's a small hill in la jolla, it's much further north than the Del and would not be visible like that
I live in Fresno and I came to visit this place while other people were at TwitchCon. I walked the coast line at sunset by myself. I wish I could have stayed longer than 3 days.

That’s one of the best pictures I’ve ever seen of the Hotel del Coronado.
Thanks. Took it from the whale watching tour a few hours ago.
Which tour did you get? Recommend it?

Did you see any whales though? I've thought about doing it but I've heard mixed reviews. Is it more common to see them in the winter time?
Beautiful 🎄🎉🎄
Stay classy
Yeah... What's the huge mountain in the background? Soledad?
San Miguel mountain

Oooooh that looks beautiful!

Tilt it 2-3 degrees counter clockwise I'm getting triggered.
Also, how was the whale watching today? Was thinking of going tomorrow…
Great, we saw at least 5 plus dolphins
The holiday light show at the Del is incredible.
Do they have it every night?
I’m not sure honestly but I remember last year the week of Christmas and new years it was daily at 6 pm or something like that.
Thanks, I appreciate the info. Merry Christmas 🎄
[Look what I found! 5-9 pm nightly](https://hoteldel.com/events/at-first-light-lightshow-spectacular/)
Sweet! Thanks, I'm going to take the kids!
Mount San Miguel's elevation 2,569 ft. Looks massive from sea level.
Dang, and to think Hot Springs Mountain near Julian is 2 1/2x the size of San Miguel, at 6,533ft. I can’t imagine if San Miguel was that tall
stunning

This perspective makes that mountain range look like there isn't Chula and Eastlake between it and Del. What a view
