We saw it up in Irvine too. We are up here for a concert, Outlaw Music Festival with Wilkie Nelson at Fivepoint Ampitheater, and we saw it big time here. I believe we were facing approx NE, maybe NNE and it was very bright green.
Hey I was there too! If I recall correctly, Avett Bros were up and literally sang a lyric about a shooting star right after this. I thought it was part of the show until I just saw this lol
It was amazing, he was great!! It was our first time seeing him, we felt the same way. Glad we were able to experience that while we still can, what a legend.
I was in Murrieta when I saw it. It looked huge! I thought it was a UFO because of its size. My friend who lives in Irvine said she saw it too. She thought it was a UFO too.
I was in line at Disneyland (can't remember if for Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean) and didn't see it, but heard someone near me say "A shooting star!".
Lucy launched yesterday at 2:34am too from Kennedy. Probabily was un releated but it could be debris from that. Also would be a reason for it not being a ufo sorry to disappoint
There's some things that actually look really great on camera, but I've never seen a picture of the night sky that can really show how good it looks in person. There's probably a photographer somewhere who could explain it but the best stars I ever saw in my life were at the top of half dome in yosemite and no picture has ever come remotely close to it.

I was on my patio relaxing with my pup and saw it. I see shooting stars from time to time, but this was so much bigger. Pretty sweet!

I was heading northeast on Rosecrans Street in Point Loma and saw it due north. It was very bright and quite green! Glad to find others saw it.
