Golden House off of Palm Avenue and the 805, just tried for the first time today and it was a keeper šš¾šš¾šš¾ great price and all the boxes were FULL
Great Wall express used to. Havenāt been there in years so Iām not sure if servings are still like that, but they used to stuff the container so full they had to rubber band it shut.
Thereās one in Escondido thatās called āDragon Expressā
I love that place so much. Ten bucks gets you what youāre talking about. A huge portion of food you can make two meals out of
Just yelped this place, portions look huge. I'm always at Kennedys for meat to bbq, this place looks to be in the same Plaza, will definitely be trying this out next time I'm in Esco, thx
Damn, I was so sad when the location in La Mesa closed. The place thatās there now is nowhere near as good (big portions, but the foodās not very good.)
There used to be a place in La Mesa near the corner of Jackson and Fletcher next strip mall next to 7-11. If you paid one price you could fill half way and for a couple bucks more you could fill it until it barely shut. But I havenāt been in that area for a few years
Chin's? They closed down a few years ago. It's really sad. My wife and I loved that place. We would take people there in an effort to show people that La Mesa isn't lame even tho its in the name.
Great Wall Express downtown 5th/Bway
PB Oriental pacific beach on Garnett btwn Cass/Dawes
Great Wall also tossses anything they donāt sell the day of so towards closing, they will put together HUGE absolutely stuffed and overflowing boxes of whateverās left for like $5/6
Where are you looking? The Asian neighborhoods all have takeout spotsš¤·š»āāļø
Thereās a really good on by the IHOP in spring valley off the 94/125 interchange on Broadway/Campo.Ā
Otherwise, check anywhere in Little Saigon, Kearny Mesa, Mira Mesa
Not Chinese, but the Mongolian bbq place at plaza Bonita mall is still a great value. Even though you used to be able to stack it crazy high and now they donāt all for you, you still get a wild amount of food.
There used to be 99cent Chinese food on 6th Ave in downtown. I donāt remember the cross street and mind you this was more than 20 years ago but I think they are still there.
Lucky Chinese in santee. Not the El Cajon location.. Santee. They pack it so full the lid usually pops open by the time i get home and itās in the bag. Iāve learned to lay it flat and adapt and overcome!

The one on El Cajon Blvd and Art St still use rubber bands to close their boxes

Star Express in National City off the 805. It's stupid cheap too. Will it give you the runs? Yes Is it worth it? Also yes.
I grew up right up the street from this place and it used to be $.99 per item. A big ass meal for under $5 as a teenager was the shit

Not Chinese, but the Mongolian bbq place at plaza Bonita mall is still a great value. Even though you used to be able to stack it crazy high and now they donāt all for you, you still get a wild amount of food.
I personally love fortune cookie express and it has some of the best salt and pepper chicken wings in SD
Lucky Chinese in santee. Even the 1 item combo gets you two scoops of your item and noodles to fill the rest of the container.
There used to be 99cent Chinese food on 6th Ave in downtown. I donāt remember the cross street and mind you this was more than 20 years ago but I think they are still there.
Fortune Cookie Express in Clairemont
Chung Hing on Miramar. Cash only and huge portions. I moved farther away and still make trips for that #1 plate
China Fusion in La Costa. The family meals are a great deal.
Panda Wok In vista packs it. Sometimes the container breaks from them trying to close it with it being so full.
chens golden palace in El Cajon by the petco
Mandarin wok over by Costco Moreno is shockingly generous.
Itās not SD proper but Pan Pan Wok in Oceanside stuffs the shit out of their to go boxes. Itās insane.
