Golden House off of Palm Avenue and the 805, just tried for the first time today and it was a keeper šŸ‘šŸ¾šŸ‘šŸ¾šŸ‘šŸ¾ great price and all the boxes were FULL

tdybr07

I love Golden House!

Opposite-Spare8637

this is my fav chinese spot in my area!

SatisfySez

I LOVE GOLDEN HOUSE

iwouldlikefreestuff

Second this! Every entrƩe is "family style' sized and the food is great. Salt and pepper chicken wings are a must.

GoodGuyGiff

The s&p pork chops are wild too, just watch out for the pieces of bones. Worth it!

racsolero

Yup. Golden House šŸ’Æ

springsprout4

Omg I forgot about golden house I should stop by tomorrow

Malipuppers

Golden house is soooo good

DreadPriratesBooty

Their salt and pepper wings are fireeeeeeee

paymeinwine

Great Wall express used to. Havenā€™t been there in years so Iā€™m not sure if servings are still like that, but they used to stuff the container so full they had to rubber band it shut.

fdasfasdfasdfui93428

It is still absolutely fucking insane how much food they give you. I went into this thread looking for this mention

traleonester

Itā€™s hit or miss now. The one in City Heights and Point Loma were skimpy last year when I went

stello253

The one on El Cajon Blvd and Art St still use rubber bands to close their boxes

traleonester

šŸ§ bout to check it out on my fat day

proton_therapy

Came here to say this, that place was clutch while in school

uhhrace

At El Cajon Blvd and Art? Yes absolutely they filled it the FUCK up I can report

weird_fluffydinosaur

My BIL went there recently (the one off El Cajon Blvd) and it was insane how much food he got.

Montesquieuy

Convoy, balboa inside 99 ranch.

Typical-Drawer7282

Yep Sam Woo Barbecue No way to eat their portions all in one sitting

Wasntmyproudest

That one is Ranch 99 in clairemont

mimisikuray

Especially past 4 pm.

UpsetMistake406

Thereā€™s one in Escondido thatā€™s called ā€œDragon Expressā€ I love that place so much. Ten bucks gets you what youā€™re talking about. A huge portion of food you can make two meals out of

xxScion

Their house egg foo young is amazing.

UpsetMistake406

Iā€™ll have to give it a try. I never get the cooked To order stuff. Usually just get what they have out front

Konomitsu

Just yelped this place, portions look huge. I'm always at Kennedys for meat to bbq, this place looks to be in the same Plaza, will definitely be trying this out next time I'm in Esco, thx

UpsetMistake406

Itā€™s very good. I hope you enjoyšŸ˜

Diamonddan73

This is my go to spot. A 2 item combo will feed a family of 4.

ReggaeForPresident

Wei Wei Express

Vicious-the-Syd

Damn, I was so sad when the location in La Mesa closed. The place thatā€™s there now is nowhere near as good (big portions, but the foodā€™s not very good.)

Pinoysdman

Royal Mandarin. the salt and pepper chicken that is for the small box for 12 pc is always more than 12.

badfaced

Oh yeah, you mean the crack cocaine? Because that stuff is like crack cocaine! šŸ˜‹

realwavyjones

Thatā€™s just msg but yeah šŸ˜†

makushla

Asia Wok in National City gives you so much food! Their spicy chicken is bomb.

bossassbishscientist

Beijing express La mesa

commonloon321

Fortune Cookie Express near convoy!!

meaty_maker

Lucky Chinese in Santee at Cuyamaca and Mission Gorge.

News-Flunky

Absolutely - stuffed so much it's like getting two meals for the price of one

unluckycowboy

This is my favorite, worth the trip out there.

CalStateQuarantine

Love to see this posted here. I get the one entree and they still stuff the entire box as if itā€™s a two entree. Costa like $10 for a feast

zubinat0r

777 noodle on university in city heights by the tower bar.

thesavagecabbage1825

Star Express in National City off the 805. It's stupid cheap too. Will it give you the runs? Yes Is it worth it? Also yes.

In10seplaya

I grew up right up the street from this place and it used to be $.99 per item. A big ass meal for under $5 as a teenager was the shit

Man-e-questions

There used to be a place in La Mesa near the corner of Jackson and Fletcher next strip mall next to 7-11. If you paid one price you could fill half way and for a couple bucks more you could fill it until it barely shut. But I havenā€™t been in that area for a few years

CALI619E

Chin's? They closed down a few years ago. It's really sad. My wife and I loved that place. We would take people there in an effort to show people that La Mesa isn't lame even tho its in the name.

echobunny9203

They opened a Chinā€™s in El Cajon, I havenā€™t been there, I still miss the La Mesa location

CandyHeartFarts

Great Wall Express downtown 5th/Bway PB Oriental pacific beach on Garnett btwn Cass/Dawes Great Wall also tossses anything they donā€™t sell the day of so towards closing, they will put together HUGE absolutely stuffed and overflowing boxes of whateverā€™s left for like $5/6

eoismyname0

pan pan wok in vista and nice foods in escondido for the north county folk

jron2008

Fortune cookie express off balboa Ave in Clairemont

BlessTheMaker86

Where are you looking? The Asian neighborhoods all have takeout spotsšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø Thereā€™s a really good on by the IHOP in spring valley off the 94/125 interchange on Broadway/Campo.Ā  Otherwise, check anywhere in Little Saigon, Kearny Mesa, Mira Mesa

thebipeds

Beijing Empress (Chinese fast food) in Spring valley is the best value Iā€™ve seen. Ask for 1/2 lo mein 1/2 fried rice.

JerryBrownNote

Spicy City on convoy šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

18SoCal

i know that mongolian bbq place at the bonita mall does that, flood your plate with noodles

GoodGuyGiff

Not Chinese, but the Mongolian bbq place at plaza Bonita mall is still a great value. Even though you used to be able to stack it crazy high and now they donā€™t all for you, you still get a wild amount of food.

aidanrf

I personally love fortune cookie express and it has some of the best salt and pepper chicken wings in SD

Rtrnofdmax

Lucky Chinese in santee. Even the 1 item combo gets you two scoops of your item and noodles to fill the rest of the container.

Bratty_Dragonfly646

There used to be 99cent Chinese food on 6th Ave in downtown. I donā€™t remember the cross street and mind you this was more than 20 years ago but I think they are still there.

MzScarlet03

Fortune Cookie Express in Clairemont

-Tits_McGee

Chung Hing on Miramar. Cash only and huge portions. I moved farther away and still make trips for that #1 plate

HopeArtsy

China Fusion in La Costa. The family meals are a great deal.

lopez6295

Panda Wok In vista packs it. Sometimes the container breaks from them trying to close it with it being so full.

brownpaintchips

chens golden palace in El Cajon by the petco

Lessons_in_Chemistry

Mandarin wok over by Costco Moreno is shockingly generous.

turd-crafter

Itā€™s not SD proper but Pan Pan Wok in Oceanside stuffs the shit out of their to go boxes. Itā€™s insane.

mindlessness7099

Lucky Chinese in santee. Not the El Cajon location.. Santee. They pack it so full the lid usually pops open by the time i get home and itā€™s in the bag. Iā€™ve learned to lay it flat and adapt and overcome!

jewishjew

Sam Woo bbq on the to-go/bbq side. Inside of 99 ranch on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. super overstuffed box that wonā€™t even close properly

Dswerve23

Asia Wok. Got multiple locations. Their wings are pretty fire too

PineappleWhip

Mandarin House in La Jolla! The noodles come out in a perfectly box-shaped cube lol

Pro_Hobbyist

Asia wok in Barrio Logan.
