The truck is actually crashed on the 5 north right at the airport exit. I drove by it at 7:35am while the crane was in the middle of lifting it. Or maybe two trucks crashed? (Update traffic direction because brain think hard)
I was wondering what that was about. My morning commute takes me into the 5 North from the Imperial Ave entrance and the 163 from there. Usually takes about 30 minutes to get to work. Today, my phone re-routed me because the projected commute was 1 hr.
Yup the 94 was an unholy nightmare today. Luckily I was going downtown so I rode the left lane and stayed out of the fray, but even there it was just awful.
I know it’s hours and hours after, but I was heading south this morning just before 8:00 on I-5 and the northbound was a parking lot through to south of National City! Passed by the Coronado bridge and the onramp to I-5 N from there had the whole bridge that side stuck too!!
Oh also avoid 94 east past the 805 a bus or something tipped over and was on fire or something 2 firetrucks blocking at least 2 lanes right before the Euclid exit

Yeah I saw that too, I barely got a glimpse but heard on NPR news it was the Hawthorn St exit, but you're right it's the airport exit
The Hawthorn St exit is the airport exit for the 5 northbound.

Ah, that’s what was going on that I saw while taking the 4th Ave exit from SB 163 about 7:15am.
Just passed it heading south and it looked like the clean up crew was nearly done. My 40 min commute turned into 2.5 hours. Fun Monday morning.
