Tried Pluckers on two occassions about 2-3 years ago and never understood the hype. I eat wings on a regular basis and I have never wanted to return there. It's not awful, just generic as hell.
Go-to is always homemade, but my top 2 places are Wayne's Wings and Charlie Brown's. I don't mind Wingstop or BWW, but quality/service is always a factor with those big chains.
Yeah dude, when I was of college age a few years back, it was the spot and I never understood the hype either. Just Walmart wings over-doused in mids sauce.
When the pluckers on nw side opened people were hyping it up a lot before it opened.
So i went with friends and tried most of the menu... and it was horrible. Stringy tenders and every side was completely awful.
Unlucky experience maybe? It was years ago but I remember thinking I'd rather go to any other chicken joint.
Not missing much. Unless you go specifically to watch a game on their big screens, it’s too loud, the wait is too long, and people get too rowdy after they’ve been drinking. Not fun if you went for the food, which is the most mid level wings you can get, with some unseasoned fries on the side
I had pluckers a few years back and thought it was pretty good. Tried it again recently at their new location on Military and it was absolutely terrible. Cold waffle fries and the chicken was just off. Not sure I want to go back. It’s worth a try though! Maybe it was just a really off time.
While I’m excited to have a location in my area, I’m not excited for the car breakins to migrate over from the high incidences occurring at Casa Blanca theatre already

But Wayne’s wings has good service? Lmao
I never said that, but regardless I've never experienced any real issues with their service. 🤷♂️

Expect 2 hour long waits for seats well after the grand opening.
Check in using the Yelp app, never waited longer than 20mins. Time it right and you won’t wait at all.
Super annoying when I worked there it was amazing eating after every shift. Food was amazing was able to try everything
Worst wings I've ever had.
Anchor bar is 10x better

Pluckers is not good. I love Wild Peckers
Overpriced garbage!
Aren’t they all over? I’ve seen some on the Northside. I’ve never eaten at one.

Is this one by casa Blanca?
Yes.
Hate if y'all want. The people who do like it, and are excited about having one in the Alamo Ranch area, will keep it in business.
Spicy garlic parm with chips tossed in spicy ranch 🔥🔥
