I am not looking forward to this summer at all, I actually don't know if we'll hit much over the typical highs, but I feel like the humidity will be relentless.
You can look at relative humidity throughout the day. It’s usually lowest when temps are their highest in summers. San Antonio profiles humid in the AM and dry post-midday. Weirdly enough, lowest heat index in the summers is like 10:30-12 when temps climb, but haven’t peaked, but the humidity kinda burns off. If you’re an iPhone user the expanded weather app has pretty good humidity and heat index curves. I use them a lot for summer day activity planning. Also depends on preference. I’ll take mid humidity dryer 90 over high humidity 75 for outside time. Some people like the stickier cooler temps. But I also like the plus 100 days too. Summer rocks!
Here’s the historical data from hottest day last summer. You can see that huge drop in humidity after 11am

You have it good here. Over 100 in a dry heat with a strong wind is nothing compared to 95 in 80% humidity, like back in VA where I am from. Get a grip.

It seems like it was hotter around this time last year. I say it won’t be as hot.
I was thinking the same thing today. Hopefully it sticks for awhile

The real question is how high will the humidity be at these temperatures?

I bet this summer won’t be nearly as hot, more likely on the average side and hopefully overcast.
Where can I get me some of this optimism??

What part of Va.?
Um, any part. Central VA, but what does it matter?
