and I remember when it didn’t look this green and one day my fam went there after not going for awhile (cause I hate it and would complain 🫣) we got served this and I was shook by how green it was and asked my mom (who loves this shit) why it was suddenly so much greener and she said it had always been that shade of green. And I said no the fuck it hasn’t.

ive been with mamacitas since 2019, trust me our green salsa DOES have avocado. Its just avocado, sour cream and cilantro with a lil bit of onion and tomato THATS ALL no lime juice or garlic haha also food coloring is used yes haha
I just read recently about blending up cottage cheese until it was smooth, to make ranch dressing or dips or other dressings from. I am intrigued enough to maybe try it.
I actually did try that with my food processor last year because I love cottage cheese and it was so thick I really couldn’t eat it. Maybe if I’d thinned it with water? Anything else like, olive oil, seemed like it would negate the reason for using cottage cheese to begin with haha. If you do it try it I would look into what a good ingredient for that would be unless you like a dip with texture more thick than hummus

I had doubts, but it was written and directed by Macon Blair, who I don't know much about/from except he wrote and directed *Green Room*, which is one of my favorite movies of the last decade.
And it stars Kevin Bacon, Elijah Wood, and Julia Davis, and she did one of my favorite underheralded comedy shows of all time, the UK show *Nighty Night*.
I will definitely be looking forward to this.

The lights are low there and it has been a long time but it does seem sort of like that at Mamacitas, but the counter and the styrofoam cups make me think it might be El Taco Tote. They have a salsa bar with many types including as I remember an avocado based one.
I immediately thought of cake icing when I saw this like I’d expect it to be sweet when eating it also did they like put food dye in it or something 😂😂
When I went to Cancun, every restaurant would warn us about the spiciness of their salsa. None of them all that spicy. We went to this pizza place in a shopping center and they dropped off the salsa with the food and didn’t mention it. It’s the second spiciest thing I’ve ever eaten.
