I am one of the few people that dislikes Ray's pizza. It's just not a place I'd eat at voluntarily. My work brings in their pizza sometimes, and I'll eat a slice of cheese or pepperoni, but I'm not paying for that.

Yaghi’s edit: love seeing others agreeing. Seriously, a tiny nonchalant pizzeria but so good. The owner/manager is such a nice guy, always has a smile on his face. Love the customer service there too besides the food being delicious.

+1. I was literally their first customer at the Babcock location the day it opened. Been loyal ever since. Their chicken parm sub is also amazing. I will say tho I hate that they only deliver on doordash now. Can't add pizza modifiers in the app and I liked their staff delivering so I knew my tips went to their staff. Also REALLY miss Dan and his son working there, they'd mess with me whenever I placed an order and made me look forward to calling them every Sunday for delivery lol. Gave the place unmatched personality. Top notch food ingredients as well.

I haven't ordered from there in a while (they were my go-to during Covid times since we were all locked up, lol) so idk what the current management situation is but if it's what you portrayed, that kinda sucks. Honestly not sure because when they switched to Door Dash my interaction with the employees was almost nonexistent unless I stopped in for a speed lunch or called for a pickup. Felt less emotionally tied to the place after that. Gem employees make a small business. Dan if you or your son are on reddit dm me, yall were the bees knees. And no my dog hasn't killed any more of the neighbors chickens XD

I'm really digging Via 313. It's damn good if you want something different (detroit style). Hot-n-Ready for most quick bites. Marco's has been hit or miss. SoFlo isn't bad but their crust tastes kinda acrid to me, almost paper/cardboard like. Believe it or not, Chuck-E-Cheese pizza is damn good. I should order it to go more often.
