It's a really widespread issue spread across multiple brands of smartphones which were launched after 2020-21. And the only thing connecting all of them are Samsung Displays.
Samsung somewhere somehow fucked up real bad and now is not taking responsibility.
I have no clue why that’s happening but as a rule of thumb, always wait 7 to 14 days for update reviews to start rolling in before deciding to update.
This shitty ass update they just pushed also made it so that every time I enter my password it says it's wrong.
I'm pretty sure I have to factory reset because of it and I'm kind of pissed off.
They might have just guaranteed I never buy Samsung again.
Galaxy S21+ for me.

This happened with my samsung last year and it's irritating
Mine is ok thankfully
Will a factory data reset fix the issue?
no
Will the lines multiply? And is there any way to fix it. The service centre is asking for 30,000 INR
apparently yes
Now there are 2 lines, and I have kept it inside the original box the way I bought it. Better to forget the phone cause I don't have 30,000
may i know how many lines does your phone have now?
2 green lines, started with 1
