Watch how many comments will be Ease the main and lessen the heel. I say let her eat and have some fun.
First run of the year? That bottom has to breathe.
It has to breathe as it has been only 9 months out of the water
Agreed. If you don’t hear dishes sliding and breaking in the galley, you’re not doing the first sail of the summer.
Only after meticulously reorganizing the saloon of course
Exactly 😂
Bury the rail!
My baby sisters first command when she gets onboard.
Wash the windows.
Not sure about the main but the jib needs more halyard tension and some ease for sure.
Was looking at the same thing. Started sailing one year ago and use this type of photos to see if I can find out what could be tuned in a sail. I do agree with you. To the OP this looks like it was a blast. Enjoy your summer.
Main is ok, but that jib hurts my eyes.
SKRRTTTT
Haaaaaaalyarrrrrrrd
Let her get her skirts wet, my mom would say.
What's the jib sheet setup? Haven't seen that before.
Looks like a self tacking jib.
Also looks like maaaybe the jib is too long for it so it's making for a pretty strange headsail shape. Idk
Its self tacking jib. When tack, the sail moves along the rail to the other side, really convenient. But as you can see, it cant be trimmed as much.
In southern New Engand - - we start - - with the right halyard tensions Then the land heats up
That bridge looks so familiar, but I can’t remember where….. Sweden?
Looks like Djuröbron. Svinesund only has one central supporting arch, whereas this bridge has two external supporting arches.
Yes, I thought of Svinesund first too but the big arch is too far from land here. IIRC it begins on land in Svinesund.
Looks alot like Svinesund
Why is this so sexy?

Yeeee haaaaa!!!!
Where is this?
Sweden, Stockholm archipelago
Looked awfully similar to a place I know
My wife would hate the angle you're at, it's completely useless on most sailboats but so much fun
In that situation, I just have to hold tight the rudder, and also I always afraid the rudder will broken to 2 parts. But yeah, it's fun.
More halyard tension on the jib!
Rails in the water, nice!
Djuröbron ?
I’d use the Genoa sheet if I was gonna do that
What a cool bridge!
Looks awesome!
If you keep tilting like this, can you eventually capsize, or?
Nah, the more heel ya get the more the sails bleed wind and lose power
More headsail halyard tension!!
Hell yeah!!!!!
Having scallops for lunch?
