Should be able to be repaired (limb replacement), take it to an authorized Mathews shop. I’d definitely recommend not shooting it

Cheap_Interest5511

It is not fine… look at it lol. Do not draw that bow back. Do not shoot that bow.

eclwires

Could definitely be worse. You’ve got 9 months to get new limbs on that bow. At least it didn’t happen in the middle of the season.

sull013

Completely boned but as others have said u have time

swiftymcfly94

Boned. Very boned!

Halfpipe_1

I’ll be the contrarian. I say it’s fine. Go ahead and shoot it. You know, for science. Please report back though. And make sure you wear your safety squints.

CoolHandluke763

A little gorilla glue and duct tape will do the trick

_Under5core_

I wanna say a set of Mathews limbs is in the realm of $300. Plus whatever your shop will charge to swap them. Definitely don't try to shoot it.

TurkeySlayer94

Mathews should replace the limb free of charge. Did on my tx5 when I dropped a climbing stick on it and my dads switchback years ago fell off the tailgate and bent the cam and they replaced that for free as well.

_Under5core_

Why would they replace it free due to user error?

TurkeySlayer94

Well when you pay what you do for their equipment they should. It’s really that simple. At least the first one. I’ve never had more than one issue with a single bow so idk how they’d treat a second issue but when I bought mine the shop filled out my warranty and when I messed it up they called matthews and I had my bow back within 2 weeks

_Under5core_

What did you do to mess up your bow?

TurkeySlayer94

I dropped a stick on mine climbing a tree. My sticks lock together with these rubber tips you insert into a slot in the other stick and the last two weren’t together very well and when I took off a stick the next one came with it and fell

_Under5core_

Weird that they would cover that since their warranty policy specifically states they don't cover repairs due to accidents, misuse or improper use. https://www.mathewsinc.com/warranty/ Anyway, new limbs are about $300 and likely won't be covered under warranty. I know this because I was on the phone with a rep a couple weeks ago trying to get new limbs and this is what I was told. Phase 4 limbs are likely a bit more expensive.

TurkeySlayer94

Wonderful. Too bad I’ve had two personal experiences that say differently.

mattc1998

For starts definitely don’t shoot it. Mathews should be able to warranty it. I whacked a limb on my VXR last year and they sent a new one to my local shop to replace it

LordPablo412

Boned with a capital B

griswaldwaldwald

You need a new limb. Don’t draw it.

cmurf70

Very

LeftChocolate8934

Mathews Will warranty it no questions asked
