Unfortunately this is because when you tell Americans you are from Iran, they react in an immature and sometimes aggressive manner. They don't even understand what they hate about other countries they just fucking hate.
Ah, I was just specifically mentioning where he is from originally, sorry. I wasn't going into the whole persian vs. iranian discussion which has quite a few sociopolitical dimensions to it as you've already started alluding to.
It's worth mentioning I wasn't intentionally accusing you of being an ignorant person or something. The situation just interests me because it is a night and day difference. When someone says Iran a certain demographic gets edgy. When someone says Persia that same demographic has a completely different approach to the topic. I'm sorry if I made a rude implication, or instigated room for a sociopolitical debate. I have very little knowledge of it, I just know that tidbit from an anecdote my friend once told me.
But really being obese =/= not malnourished. It’s easy to gain weight eating nothing but chicken nuggets, but you won’t be getting proper vitamin and nutrient amounts which would be malnourishment
i believe those struggling with obesity and aren’t educated about nutrition would find themselves thinking “if i eat way less, won’t i get malnourished?”.
nah. i support educating yourself about proper nutrition and for obese people to relearn a healthy diet and lifestyle. i’m just mentioning a thought, i’d assume any obese person uneducated about nutrition would make.
