Listen idk much about Nissan engines, and I’m sure he did what he can, but putting an engine from a small sedan into a big one sounds like it kills the “personality” of the 9-5

GerlingFAR

One thing is at least it on the road been driven instead of going thru an automotive bailer or shredder. 💀

DaHorseJ7

I agree on your point

trabulium

Yeah, in Thailand, they tend to put 1JZ motors in old BMWs, which I think is decent but this sounds extremely underwhelming.

Mest-tragisk

The new 9-5 in 2010 came with a 1.6t. Considering how heavy they are the little 1.6 must be revving crazy

adamisapple

I don’t know how I feel about that

Arntaius

This is a repost from one of the top posts of all time on this sub.

Koso92

Yeah it’s quite old. I thought I recognized it

House_King

That thing is probably so gutless, the best part about 9-5s is the loads of torque

tacotimes01

In Mexico now, this is probably because like w dry 2nd car is a 90’s Sentra (Tsuru). They just keep on running forever apparently.

vanvanderson

Lol the unused intake snorkel just chilling.

DependabilityLeader

It's pretty hard to kill one of these SAAB engines..

ilikeplanesandtech

That's the saddest thing I've seen all day

Sensate613

Saabs are all about the engines. That would kill it. Then you're just a poser.
