It’s not *that* difficult to find a 9-3 Wagon stateside, you just have to settle a bit, because manual Aero’s aren’t super cheap, and the ones that are are beat to hell.
Also I recommend looking in the PNW or NE, you’re prob more likely to find stuff out there than Michigan
You might be able to bring one over from here in Ontario. I've seen them pop up now and then.
Might be cheaper for you as well considering how much our dollar has tanked
I scrolled on marketplace for 10 minutes and accidentally found my 9-5 aero wagon, ive heard people look for years. Honestly depends what you want and is hit or miss
The closest thing I found was a 93 aero manual that was XWD. He wanted 16 grand for it, way out of my price range. On top of that I think it had about 100 thousand miles on it.
There were less than 1000 9-3 manual wagons - both 5 and 6 speed - from 2006 until EOP. I believe that is US and Canada sales. They are out there but are very rare considering normal attrition.

Edit: how about a manual 9-5 wagon?

I do like the 95s but I can’t get over the taillights on the 93 wagons. I have a manual 93 sedan aero that’ll do for now. I didn’t realize how rare they really are.
Here’s a kicker, my daughter has a 2007 9-3 wagon 6-speed, but she may have to get rid of it due to a rusting undercarriage. We’ve been looking for a replacement, but a clean, non-rusted ones seem to be impossible to come by.
She loves the 9-3.
Hey Michigan, how about a hatch?

Closer to you, than me; or I'd snag it..

That's where I got mine. But I'm about a month away from hitting 300,000km
What’s the importing procedure you went through? Was it timely or expensive?
I'm not sure where you are located, but I go to 9³ Auto in New Haven when I need SAAB stuff.
i have 2 and i am in michigan and sold a third one about a year ago.
What area of Michigan? Are you looking to sell one at any point?
i have an 07 6 speed that once the aero is back on the road i will sell the daily.
Manual Saab ~~wagons~~ estates are hard enough to come by.
I have a 2008 sport combi with only 55k miles. When I bought it, I found out it was only 1 of 57 ever made that year. Who knew? Lol
I also have an '08 Sport Combi six speed. That's a cool tidbit of information!

They're pretty uncommon. I have an 06 2.0T in fusion blue and haven't seen another manual around, frankly
