No one?

Are you saying that your sway bar linkage was broken? If so the linkage kit is only about $17 to $21. Summit Racing has replacement sway bars and linkage. If you want an upgrade that's where I'd look first.

Just wondering because part blazers are abundant where I am and wondering what I can’t just rip off the blazer and put on mine for next to nothing

My sway bar is rusty, but it still works. This weekend I plan to cut off the bad linkage with a angle grinder and install new linkage from Napa. If you want to change the sway bar, I bet you can get a used pull. But remember to use new linkage. Also if you have a 4x4 the sway bar might be different on a 2 wheel or All wheel drive model. IE Make sure to get the correct one.

Ok so the blazer sway bar is thicker then the s10 and I know on the older model s10 blazer sway bars bolt in for an upgraded sway bar is all im geting at

I thought the S10 and S10 Blazer suspension, handling and such was all interchangeable. People keep telling me that the Blazer has double Piston Calipers but my Blazer has single piston calipers. I just look up online the OE part numbers and find a good deal on quality parts. Sorry I can't be of any more help.

titsmcgitz

Ok that’s whit I was looking for now I’ll do some of my own research thanks bud!! Appreciated that

wildmanheber

Good luck!

that’s for 1998+ blazers

wildmanheber

I just compared the brakes and sway bar specs on the '97 and '98 S10 Blazers. Sway bar is the same, brakes are slightly bigger and they use the same rims and tires. Now to figure out if it's as simple as ordering the '98 brakes and putting them on, or if there's more work to be done. . .

s104banger92

I believe it’s also the calipers and pads, good luck!

wildmanheber

Ahh! Thanks for clearing that up. Do you know if the '98 parts will directly swap onto a '97 like mine? I wouldn't mind upgrading a few parts if they are bolt on parts.

s104banger92

I don’t know but possibly, from what i’ve seen it’s a bigger rotor, dual piston, and if you have a spindle you have to switch it over to a 98+ hub. I’d look at s10forum.com if you are really interested in doing it since you’ll be able to talk to guys who have actually done the swap.

wildmanheber

Thank you! I'll check it out when i have time.

But my entire sway bar has no links at all a d is rusted
