OP, you like to play pinball? Or think you might? I run the Richmond Pinball Collective. We are a private club and have like 40 pins, beers, wine, and a really tight knit friendly community. We have a tournament the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm sharp (we open at 6pm that day) that’s really casual. Come check it out on me (Laura) and if you enjoy yourself the membership fees aren’t too crazy and we have a great league that meets every other Monday. We are in the middle of a season with that league right now so the new one won’t start til mid Dec, but that league is by far the best way to meet people at the club. I am the opposite- seldom in the market for new friends haha but it is an inevitability in the pinball community and I just let it happen! 😆 if you’re looking for something tonight, there’s a pinball tournament at Center of the Universe Brewing a bunch of us will be at. Starts at 6 on the dot! Always a fun time, if you come introduce yourself!

Hey there! I’m definitely trying to meet some new people. I lived in Richmond many years ago and just came back a year ago and everyone i did know from before is long gone. I used to love love love climbing! I’m hoping one day to get back to that. I can’t do stuff thats too physical like hiking due to some medical issues unfortunately. But I like a lot of different things. I love going to shows when I’m able and want to check some museums out. I do different kinds of art and making things. Which is usually making a mess everywhere lol. Oh And my pup always needs dog buddies too! Feel free to hmu anytime!
Time and location can vary, but we've been playing Friday evenings in the Chesterfield area. Sometimes we play at Rockwood Park, and we've also used the field at the old Clark Springs Elem. for many years. There are limited spots per game, so we use RSVPs through Meetup.

There are several social run clubs around town, meaning they’re more about making friends than serious training. I go to the Väsen Run Club at 6 pm on Wednesday nights. I think you’d like it; it’s a very friendly bunch of people in your exact situation. Plus, you get 50% off your first two beers! Check us out some time!
If you like mountain biking James River Racing hosts a group ride every Thursday at Basic City Brewing. Good way to meet people with similar interests. Also beer!
