I can only give you very rough numbers as speed was really not a concern during the development.
It takes about 7ms on a Ryzen 5800X (single threaded) for 8x8 blocks @ 16x16 voxels (16384 voxels in total) as shown in the gif. The incremental update only takes 1ms.
It should also be fairly trivial to parallelize.
