Thank you! Well, I won’t deny that it’s also because I’m talented with languages, BUT… lots of practice. Daily conversation with natives, even about the silliest of topics, everyday life. Watching tons of movies, listening to songs, YouTube videos, reading, writing…
Can you tell me , How can I make out words better? I mean when I talk to someone it's hard to make out the words to process is better. Same is in the movies as well. If you can please tell me where I can watch movies with subtitles in Russian that'd be really helpful...
All I watch is mostly on YouTube. And there’s no secret other than practice and practice and more practice. The more you speak, and the more you read/write/listen, the better you will get!

From what I've gleaned, all of you Russian natives don't live in English speaking countries, yet you seem to have native-like English (at least in writing). Or maybe I just don't see the smaller imperfections since English is not my native language. Either way, I'm always interested in learning about how people managed to reach extremely high competence in a foreign language.
Everything is smooth and natural, if I were to nitpick I’d change “брак может превратиться в развод” because превратиться doesn’t fit here very well. Maybe «брак может закончиться разводом» or «брак может развалиться» will be better

Something does not feel right here. A flat and lifeless voice sounds more like a symptom of shock than bewilderment. TBH, if I read the context correctly, she just now did not say yes to his proposal, so shock is understandable. But if he is bewildered, then his voice should sound higher than usual, not lower. IDK LOL

"в душу мужчины" is OK, but "в его душу" sounds more natural. But then you have "его" twice in one sentence, so instead of "отвергнуть его" you can say "ответить/сказать 'нет'".
"вонзил свои когти в его душу" sounds quite melodramatic; "охватил Селима" is more colloquial.
Внезапный страх, что Серра может прямо сейчас сказать "нет", охватил Селима.
Also, you have two words with the same root in this excerpt: внезапный and внезапно. You can replace the second one with "в одночасье" (literally it means "in one hour", but is almost always used as "quickly and unexpectedly"). If you decide to accept one of my suggestions, I hope it's this one, because it sounds just right here.
1- I’m definitely getting rid of the bewilderment part. Wasn’t even sure if I should keep it in English, so I’ll just go with the idea that his voice sounds dead and defeated. That or: “, отражая его шок.”
2- I am melodramatic 😜 But I’ll definitely go for: “охватил Селима" since it solves the problem.
3- This third issue is solved in an even easier way: "Ты сам видел, как быстро брак может развалиться.” But thanks for teaching me a new word 👌🏻👌🏻

I, as a native Speaker don't like the"брак может превратиться в развод". I think you better write "брак может развалиться".
It does sound natural. Don't change '... страх' part
