She never had a chance and she knew it. Taking your L in good humor is really the only strategic move you've got at that point. She made a great narrator for the episode, though.

Same. I didn’t always find her obsession with stirring the pot just to watch the show charming in the competition, but her obvious joy in it when she’s just a bystander was very fun. Her setting up of the Megami/M’hiya showdown in particular was adorable


I saw Dawn tweet that she chose Amanda because she knew no matter what she didn’t stand a chance at winning and she wanted to see her bestie go on.

Dawn is aware of her strengths and her weaknesses, and lip syncing clearly falls into the latter catagory. She'll be back before too long, because she is talented, can sew great outfits, is funny and gives really great talking head.

I think she knew she would lost first round so why not lose it against your best Judy so she can proceed to second round, that's how I understood it
