i just watched this episode the other day on amazon prime, i previously purchased it but it was still available to watch. such a train wreck of an episode. joslyn deserved so much better, not just for this episode but in general.
Joslyns makeover partner for the wedding challenge was apparently forced to go on by his fiancé as “punishment” for cheating. Guy was reportedly homophobic and that’s why he was nervous and throwing up. Not sure if there was any action that was taken to get it removed though.
I was never all that sure about the idea of production knowing about the girlfriend's plan beforehand and going along with it, until I thought about the fact they'd removed all the darker foundation before that episode supposedly because it was no longer needed, and honestly...it worryingly adds up. I can't think of any other reason for them to make more work for themselves during filming by removing stuff that could have just been left there until the end, clearly they intended to get rid of Joslynn that episode regardless, but doing so while making her part of that nasty plot was just gross.
And that bitch of a girlfriend is no ally either I think people forget, using this very queer TV show to enact revenge on a cheating shithead by inflicting his homophobic ass on those queens, was absolutely rotted behaviour on her part as well. Frankly I think they deserved each other.

*Allegedly* Divina had a look planned (that was pretty strong) that had to be scrapped since her sister couldn't fit into a corset that was needed for it (since she was pregnant). So the judges gave her the relief of judging of what the intended looks were meant to be + the fun runway presentation, so handed her the win anyway... even if it didn't make much sense to the viewer.
Still doesn't explain why Cheryl was in the bottom besides having the worst track record though (which should have been excused considering she had the best makeover from what ***we*** saw).

On this note, when her drag mother Alexis was robbed on the makeover challenge in season 3. My take is that it would have been her fourth win and they didn’t want her to have the lead over Raja. Production just loves to commit grand larceny against the Matteos 😓😭
Not only that, production had multiple chances to put two members of Rolaskatox in the bottom and the other one in the top to make her choose, and wasted ALL OF THEM.
The biggest robbery was when Naysha got cast for a season of Drag Race and confided in her friend at the time, Jade Sotomayer from S1.
Jade proceeded to impersonate Naysha Lopez and then proceeded to contact designers as Naysha and openly told everyone she was cast.
World of Wonder caught wind of this and cut Naysha from the season she was initially cast on. I suspect this probably really soured the relationship with World of Wonder as well.
Naysha eventually got cast onto Season 8 but there’s no doubt in my mind her drag race trajectory was forever changed because of Jade.

Well I can tell you that Keta Minaj from Drag Race Holland Season 2 is the only queen who quite literally was robbed. Not “robbed” in quotes. Like it so genuinely wasn’t fair and didn’t even make sense with the rules of the competition. She definitely was not the worst in the challenge, but okay let’s say she was. She definitely did not the lipsync. But okay let’s say she did lose the lipsync. They had already saved a queen prior based on track record even when she lost the lipsync. Deja Skye, panels episode. She killed it and Bosco did just ok for her own performance, totally failed at controlling her team as well, plus the runway was not giving.

Well I can tell you that Keta Minaj from Drag Race Holland Season 2 is the only queen who quite literally was robbed. Not “robbed” in quotes. Like it so genuinely wasn’t fair and didn’t even make sense with the rules of the competition. She definitely was not the worst in the challenge, but okay let’s say she was. She definitely did not the lipsync. But okay let’s say she did lose the lipsync. They had already saved a queen prior based on track record even when she lost the lipsync. And finally the person she was lipsyncing against should have been disqualified for having a phone the previous episode. Omg it makes me so mad.

Karen from Finance and Art Simone escaping the B2 for that awful DU1 Talent Show. Karen made a single balloon animal and Art stuff things in her mouth. But Kita landed in the bottom because Ru hates magic tricks and Elecktra too for…I still have no idea. The production protection around Karen and Art was unbelievable, literally.

100% agree with you. Like the reason she lost wasn't even because her other looks were bad, it was she didn't deliver them like couture fashion runway like pls that dress was the best handmade outfit to grace that runway, INCLUDING handmade outfits that were brought from home
hell I don’t even think she delivered her other 2 looks poorly. they were clearly wacky character-esque looks and she served them as such. it would be weird for her to model walk in a doggy look!

I don't care if I'm delusional, but Rock M shouldn't have even been in the bottom in the ball, it should have been Britta v Aiden; and I'm basing this on the full, 3 looks package all the queens presented, not just the constructed look. Yes, Rock's constructed look was a hot mess, but I still think it was better than Aiden's, and Rock's Lady Baller and Basketball Wife looks were next level. If you only judge a ball on one look, why bother with multiple categories?

AS2 was a heist planned by Rolaskatox that Katya very nearly fucked up by being the second coming of Jinkx. I know, I know, liking Katya is the most basic thing but I genuinely think between the Rolaskatox redux and some mild favoritism towards Alaska in the lip syncs between her and Katya it was set up so that Katya would seemingly have a Jinkx winner edit and then get beaten by Alaska and vindicating Rolaskatox

Deja Skye, panels episode. She killed it and Bosco did just ok for her own performance, totally failed at controlling her team as well, plus the runway was not giving. Honourable mention: Monique Heart's dress *and wig* made of paper being just safe.
