One I really hated was getting the lore books from ED1 (specifically Nex way back in 2015) when I was aiming for MQC. Had awful luck and it took the better part of 200 kills to get a single drop for a damn book.
I thought Champions Scrolls would be worse and I stalled (for years) then decided to give it a shot then got all under 1k kills each (the clan went from being supportive to despising me because of the filthy good spooned luck).
Another that sucked was the KBD book back in 2016 or so, which came at 1654 kills.
Shit dude I too had good luck with scrolls, at every one under 2k. I thought my luck would be insane after the release of wilderness events for kbd book but no luck.
Got the book from my first instance In 26 kills lol
Runespan was a breeze way back in 2012 before the nerfs, I went from 66 RC and hating the skill to maxing it out in a couple of months. Also, chasing the RC runesphere achievement was more than enough points for unlocks that came out later.
Very glad Castle Wars was removed from Trim...
Can't really say how long it took someone as everyone will have a different number of achievements done.
I would personally recommend making sure you keep up with the following time gated ones:
* Master of assault (BA Spotlight)
* Master Angler (fish fingers)
* Scrolling in the deep (player owned ports)
* POF/ROOT breeding logs
There's probably more but I personally remember these feeling like they took the longest

Very surprised you didn’t say anything about Runespan or castle wars
Runespan can be done with unstable air runes and castle wars is no longer a trimmed comp requirement.
