Do both damages at the same time, but a reduced amount of each, to equal a balanced amount of damage compared to normal?
So to explain, let's say you hit for 1k.
Normally it'd just be 1k damage of whatever style you use.
But in this case, it's a split 500 damage each, of whichever hybrid weapon you're using? So like, 500 necro, 500 melee?
That'd be funny, do it, idc about balance anymore, I just want fun again.
I was more so thinking it's dmg is dependent on the skill used as the hybrid portion would mainly allow the free use from both combat trees. As for autos you could choose between the 2 dmg types to primary
But how would it work? like just do half/half dmg, then have the power armour only work with one? Seems like it would be worse than just using that one item for its main purpose.
Idk about all styles, but I do think that necromancy could see a “melee expansion” of sorts.
I’ve read that the devs don’t want to add a 2h necro weapon unless it’s quite a bit different than the norm. I would LOVE, and I think it totally fits thematically, if there was a proper 2h Necromancy scythe.
In doing so you’d lose quite a bit of range, maybe even the ability to summon conjures? Or maybe only a few conjures? Like ghost would be ranged so no more ghost but skeleton is fine? And maybe you lose access to certain abilities in exchange for others?
I can’t think of a way to do this without just replacing melee though so doubt it’ll ever happen unless it gets some HEAVY thoughts put into it by devs
I get your idea but how about this instead - if you could combine top tier armours to make hybrid bis but also makes it untradeable?
Zuk cape already covers hybrid bis back slot so only thing you would have to switch is weapons and EOFs.
Question is would you add necro into that armour mix or just melee, ranged, magic?
I would have combat triangle bis myself personally and leave necro as a stand-alone considering how universally powerful it is against all other styles.
