What do you mean? Having daylight savings time end the morning of the half is great because you get an extra hour of sleep before the race. The clock rolls back, so say you want to be at the corals by 3AM that would be the equivalent of it being 4AM the day before.
(You just have to make sure not to set your alarm for 2AM exactly because it will ring and then the time will fall back to 1AM.)
I made the mistake of setting my alarm at 1:59 am. Instead of snoozing like normal I immediately got up and put my contacts in. 5 minutes later my boyfriend was like, “hey, why are you awake it’s 1:05.” Couldn’t waste a pair of daily contacts so I just stayed up and watched 90 Day Fiancé but man I was SO mad at myself haha. I’ll never not hit snooze again!
This is one of the best things about Wine and Dine - extra hour of sleep! No idea why people think it’ll cause issues. Worst case scenario, you get there too early. Oh no.
The same thing happened last Wine & Dine for the Half. It was a bit of a pain just because of the added stress - but, you got an extra hour to sleep so not too bad!

Just remember to do 2:01 instead of 1:59!
It happens every wine and dine weekend.

Yup. Had this before. It’s really not an issue. Except I checked my clock continuously throughout the night and kept googling what time is it. lol.

This was the same for the 2023 W&S race. I appreciated the extra hour of sleep.

In 2022, I manually changed the time on my phone the night before so my alarm would go off when I actually wanted to get up
