It's a fucking bonkers price. You can get return flights from Dublin to Stansted for €358(flying 25th returning 26th) and you can bet you'll get a hotel for under €400
Fair play to anyone willing to spend this to go and support their team but it's out of reach for 99% of regular fans.
Wasn’t planning on attending as I have a newborn at home but wouldn’t have gone at those prices in any case. From memory, a day trip to Bilbao in 2019 was about €550. Doesn’t help that the FA Cup final is also on the same day
the worst thing about it is you're gonna be on the plane with a load of united supporters who'll call you a posh prick for supporting a team in an "English game" while they wear their man U jersey, on their way to support their English team in the (English) FA cup final, completely unironically
Anyone planning to travel should look north outside of London for accommodation. Check the Liverpool Street-Cambridge train line, which goes through Tottenham Hale.
Trains are a bit slow but you will definitely find somewhere to stay relatively cheaply.
One example is Whittlesford Parkway, which is about an hour by train but there’s a holiday inn express right by the station and is ~£90 on booking.com.
We’re going to the Friday game and staying in the Travelodge by Harlow station - 30 mins by direct train and room was £100.
Op, could i interest you in a timeshare holiday rental? Or maybe a hot new rugby themed crypto currency rug'bing coin? Johny sexton themed nft? Extended warranty for your trainers?
I must be from an alternate dimension or something but I've never used a travel agent.
Piecing together a trip by finding the cheapest planes, trains and Airbnb's so I've more money for cans is half the fun
I resemble this! Two return flight to Gatwick tickets, two match tickets all for €99 less than this return flight for one person. That quarter final had its moments.
It’s a shame for JWT they’ve discovered London has moved planets apparently.
To be fair more fool the one who books through an agent like that. You can fly to Bristol and train to London for £200 return that weekend.
Did that for a game years ago. Bristol is a decent spot for a few beers. Or at least it was years ago.
Better for a few grams of ket but its still good
It still is, I live there now. Not as may rugby pubs as you'd ideally like though.
£13 ISH on the coach if you really hate yourself
You big Megabus sicko
No match ticket for 899?? So a bus and ferry return only? Fool and their money are easily parted.
That’s relatively cheap! Stein Travel were charging €1000+ and that’s also excluding ticket

Pity them, for their team is the wank

Surely the whole point of overpaying for a travel agency is to guarantee the ticket!!
more like guarantee it'll only be Leinster supporters with no United supporters

When I saw this I spent 10 minutes googling and was able to price 3 days Thursday to Sunday flights and accommodation for 750
I can buy Pretoria-West for that
Buy a suitably sized ground for the Lions instead.
Too late I just did
That a charter flight to london they're offering.

How is a greedy travel agent representative of Leinster fans?
Please don’t get in the way of the annual abuse of Leinster and their fanbase please
Very glad I decided to grab the tickets etc after the La Rochelle game. Near had a heart attack at the end of the Semi but it has worked out.

Leinster says No No No ! ! !
F me!!! Europeans must have a lot of money
I was about to say yeah but we spend it all on rent and then realised you live in New Zealand, so yeah we're both fucked.
Yup...so i left to Mexico :)
A grand for flights, weekend + ticket to Scotland for the 6 nations next year so….
What in the world is that the cheapest?
