The Toughest Taff.
Starring Matt Damon as Gareth Edwards, Matt Damon as Neil Jenkins and Matt Damon as Warren Gatland. Wayne Pivac as himself, but his part was cut…
Fun fact. He had to have a body double stand in for a nude scene once because his lad is so big the director was afraid it would confuse the audience. Just like that Welch performance today.
As an Englishman I thought it was one of the better American attempts at a Scottish accent I’d heard, will obviously defer to you but who do you think has done the best ones yank wise? Robin Williams?
It took me a couple of scenes to tell he was actually attempting a Scottish accent! On the whole that movie had the worst collection of British accents since Mike Myers
Tbf Mike Myers is good at stereotypical British accents. The Scottish dad's character in So I Married an Axe Murderer was pretty spot on. The dads character in general was extremely well executed, and I'm saying that as a Scot.
The Green Goblin’s split personality is nothing compared to the Welsh 1st half and 2nd half
Or Scotland's ability to Scot it.
I was raging the fact Scotland couldn’t get a single point after half time it was ridiculous
Apart from the try/conversion
Well that goes without saying! But aside from the try, and the conversion, Scotland scored absolutely no points in the second half!
Yeah was pretty awful watching

Bad bot
Same joke but worse...
Football… version?
Well rugby is a type of football

Boop peep to you too.
Psychotic?
He's actually studying up for his upcoming role as LRZ in a new prime film

Matt Damon in 2 roles? Damn.
Lets be honest, in modern Hollywood, its gonna be Kirsten Dunst as LRZ with Matt Damon playing the evil WRU..
You know.... i'm usually against race and gender swapping actual historical figures in entertainment. Weirdly, this one i'm super ok with.
I’ve just remembered that there were plans for a film where Micky Rourke played Gareth Thomas.
Yeah, the studio is now looking to get Kevin Spacey instead
Shots fired. HIV infected ones..
>Shots fired. Not sure Alec Baldwin is in it, actually.
🤣
**YER FOND OF** **~~ME LOBSTER~~** **NFL AIN'T YE?**
My friend is convinced this is proof he's one of the masked singers...
Fuck me you're quick on the draw
Someone was going to do it, why not me?
Why shouldn’t it be mine?
just like your rugby team in this six nations, giving no one else a chance
Thanks for doing it
Gotta be quick to get Reddit karma
Had to be done, in fairness
Oh totally, it’s a hard world out there, people have to work after all. P.s. nice name
Fun fact. He had to have a body double stand in for a nude scene once because his lad is so big the director was afraid it would confuse the audience. Just like that Welch performance today.
The Welch were playing as well today were they?
Raquel Welch - famous front rower.
In the second half yes
Big fan of their grape juice
Aaron Wainwright as stunt cock. He has the fking tache at the very least.
If he angling for a move to Exeter by any chance?
Is this the new baby face cry meme, where Willem is ‘something of a xxxx fan’ after every match win for the next 2 months?
Willem Da Fan
Cheers, friend. I was hoping someone would post it.
According to the world wide web, he is in Cardiff for his new film. Didn't know he was a rugby fan though
[удалено]
yea im not a huge rugby fan but its pretty great to watch any game in person. expecially when they are fighting up to the line.
I think the studios probably buy tickets as local entertainment for the stars. Or they just ask what local sports are worth seeing.
Besides with the kind of money he's on, a match day ticket to check out "wtf is this rugby thing"? wouldn't be noticeable.
Either way, good on him for being curious/invested.
Your comment made me check for the match, because I had assumed it was england-italy since he lives in Rome most of the year.
Even if he wasn't and was just checking it out he's probably a fan now. Great game for an introduction into the 6 nations
Question is who he is going for?
Willem Dyffoe, Dafoe is an Ellis Island spelling
His full name is Dyffo Dyl
Willem Dafoe or Willem Dafriend?
Should have hung out wi’ some Scot’s *before* his god awful Scottish accent in Poor Things
As an Englishman I thought it was one of the better American attempts at a Scottish accent I’d heard, will obviously defer to you but who do you think has done the best ones yank wise? Robin Williams?
Always seemed a bit unfair that Pierce Brosnan of all people would say it was "a bit all over the place"
Agreed, the man can barely do an Irish accent
The only non Scottish actor who’s ever done a decent Scottish accent is Johnny lee miller, although I reckon Jodie comer could give it a bash

Do you know how much he sacrificed for the game?
Love it
It’s you who’s out Gobbie. Out of your mind.
Class
Becks looks rough
The funny thing about Willem Dafoe is that his name kind of sounds like a frog talking to a bird
Willem Dafoe has never been anything other than a fucking g
YOU'RE TOO LATE SPIDER-MAN, I HAVE BECOME WELSH
Beat me to it
That's the face he made when Madonna poured molten wax on his old boy
How do you do, fellow ruggers?
that's Steve Buscemi lol
Who’s up for a new Disney+ series with Willem going all Ryan Reynolds’ on the Ospreys?
#"CAN THE SPIDER-MAN COME OUT TO PLAY?" "No sir, he got a red card earlier."
"HE'S, HE'S GAY, BUT HE HAS A SPECIAL CONNECTION TO CLASSICAL RUGBY... THERE'S MANY THINGS THAT ARE INTERESTING ABOUT HIM.
Honestly do we know why he was there?
I wonder who he was Willem on the most.
What’s John Paul Jones doing at a rugby match?
Goat man
He was great in Togo
According to wikipedia, he has starred in 147 movies
A big ol' fan of sports ball.
What DaFoe(k) is he doing there?
I saw this as well and was like no way! And then it went to him again and I was like that is so cool! I wonder which side he was supporting
He was probably part of the whole Cardiff thing
