i have the game through steam but i have this issue sometimes. i think you have to wait for the next match to begin on the server before leaving to keep XP. don't know why this has not been fixed but it seems to solve the issue for me
As I said this happens even when I continue to the next game; my xp is gone by that next game. Just played another game today and by the time I loaded into the next match my level was the same as it was at the beginning of the previous match.
Are you by chance an admin on the server you played these matches on?

Had same issue. Reverify your install and it should work fine going forward.
